George Reddy was the founder of the Revolutionary Students Movement in Andhra Pradesh, India. He was a student of the Osmania University, Hyderabad and was the university gold medalist, a mark of academic excellence.
He was the founder of the Progressive Democratic Students Union,[1] which was a student body on the campus of Osmania University. The PDSU is now the student wing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) New Democracy.
